Anonymous estimates
When you submit a scale choice, the site stores the problem, selected estimate, timestamp, and a one-way hash of a random identifier saved in your browser. The identifier connects your attempts for My Stats without storing your name or email.
Optional accounts
A passkey account stores your display name, passkey public credential, session records, and the attempts you attach to the account. The site does not store a password, email address, biometric image, or device PIN.
Public results
Article pages show aggregate answer counts. A display name and accuracy may appear on a public leaderboard only when you enter a name and choose the leaderboard option.
Control
You can sign out or permanently delete your passkey account and its attached attempts from My Stats. Anonymous aggregate submissions are otherwise retained so published result counts remain stable.
Service data
Cloudflare hosts the site, database, security controls, and traffic analytics. Short-lived, one-way network identifiers may be used to limit automated submissions.
